CM Biplab Deb along with local MLA Smt. Kalyani Roy visited the village of Krishnahow Kaipeng para, sirduk karkari TTAADC under Teliamura sub Division on 13th of April 2019 as part of their political campaign which is about 8.2 Kilometer distance from Teliamura.

Both CM Biplab Deb and MLA Kalyani Roy had a full meal in one of the local BJP leader house. People were so happy for the first time that the CM of the state is visiting their village and trying to listen to their needs and issues.

However, their visit in the village turn out to be a sad state for the villagers as their sentiments and religious place was disrespected by the BJP workers who accompanied the CM and the MLA to the village.

The BJP supporters have parked their bikes in the local Presbyterian Church veranda, even though the Church main gate was locked, yet they entered through the corner of the boundary which was not fenced properly.

“We respect Temple, Mosque, and other religious places as much we respect our Church but they have disrespected our Church and made their parking lot” said one of the local out there.

The Young Kaipeng Association – YKA the largest NGO of the Kaipeng tribe have strongly condemned the unfortunate incident committed by the BJP supporters and seek their apology for hurting their religious sentiment.

The local Presbyterian Church leader of the village have complained the incident to the BJP local leader but no any response so far, alleged the local people.
